AAS develops systems and concepts
for smart and adaptive buildings

AAS is a start-up company founded in 2021 by Fabio Montagnino and
Georgios Artopoulos. The company’s vision is to produce innovative
data-driven building retrofit solutions that contribute to a sustainable
transition of our built environment, developed specifically for the needs
of the cities around the Mediterranean basin and the solar belt
countries.

MESH is a solution that contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals that are the heart of the 2030 Agenda of United Nations for sustainable development.

By implementing MESH as a solution, we are smartening up the building stock while making it green, fun and interactive. On parallel we are transforming the living spaces making them enjoyable, sustainable and resilient.

Decarbonising the buildings and construction sector is critical to achieve the Paris Agreement commitment and the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs), hence the demand for simple and effective solutions is huge. Buildings are responsible for almost 40% of the energy emissions, therefore taking climate action in buildings and construction is among the most cost-effective solutions.
